Banana Chips:

Banana Chips Fried In A Cononut Oil Are Perfect Snack Specially In Rainy Seasons During Watching Rains. These Can Be Best Stored In An Air Tight Container And Can Last For Few Days.

Ingredients For Making Banana Chips:

 Take 4 Green (unripe) Plantains, Peeled, Sliced Into Thin Rounds And Washed

2 Cups Of  Coconut Oil

3 Cups  Of Water

1 Teaspoon Of Turmeric Powder

1 Tablespoon Of Chili Powder

Salt To Taste

Method For Preparing Banana Chips:

  • 1. Put The Slices Of Banana Into A Solution Of Water, Salt And Turmeric And Let Sit For 5 Minutes.
  • 2. Give It A Good Mix And Transfer To A Colander To Drain Completely.
  • 3. In A Medium Sized Kadai On High Heat, Heat The Oil.
  • 4. When It Starts Smoking, Add The Slices In Small Batches.
  •  fry until golden colour and transfer onto a paper napkin
  • repeat with the rest of the slices
  • sprinkle with salt and chilli powder and let it cool
  • Now A Receipe For Very Tasty Spicy Banana Chips Are Ready
