Easiest Way to Cook Cashew Curd Chicken Recipe

Cashew curd chicken is a beautiful Non-Veg Curry. This can be cooked in anyone's home in less than an hour. Let's look at the process of cooking and the ingredients needed.

Ingredients for making Cashew Curd Chicken:

  • 750 grams of chicken
  • 1 1\2 cup thick curds
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh cream
  • 2 1\2 tablespoon of cashew nut powder
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 large piece of cinnamon
  • 4 cloves
  • 2 flacks mace
  • 1 petal star aniseed
  • 1 spoon nutmeg powder
  • 10 flakes garlic
  • 3 cm piece of ginger
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoon of oil
  • 1\2 tablespoon of sugar
  • Few coriander leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce.


Method For Preparing Cashew Curd Chicken:

  1. Clean and cut the chicken pieces into medium sizes.
  2. Whip curd and cream together & keep aside.
  3. Make a paste of ingredients 4 to 14.
  4. Chop coriander leaves, chop onions.
  5. Combine the chicken with masala paste, curd, cream, salt, chili powder and allow to marinate for 2 hours.
  6. In heavy-bottomed pan heat oil and caramelize sugar, then add chopped onions and fry till brown. Add tomato sauce and chili powder fry for a few minutes.
  7. Pour chicken with the marinade, mix well and cook covered till chicken is tender and oil floats on the top.
  8. Finally, garnish with coriander & serve with Rotis.
