Chicken Tikka Masala ( Homestyle )

Chicken Tikka Masala Is Chicken Tikka Served In A Masala Gravy, A Tasty Gravy Dish.

Ingredients For Making Chicken Tikka Masala -step 1:

2 Large Onions, Sliced

4 Large Red Tomatoes, Sliced Or Use Tomato Puree 1 Cup

1 Tea Spoon Of Ginger Garlic Paste

1 Tea Spoon Of Sugar

½ Tea Spoon Garam Masala Powder

Salt To Taste

Ghee For Cooking

4 Table Spoons Of – Cashew Nuts Bits

2 Tea Spoons Of Mangalore Chili Masala Powder

Method For Preparing Chicken Tikka Masala-step 1

1. Melt 1 Table Spoon Of Ghee In A Wok. Fry The Onions Till Transparent. Add The Tomatoes  Or

Tomato Puree & Fry For A While. Add Ginger Garlic Paste. Fry Till It Gives A Nice Aroma.

2. Add The Following Ingredients One By One. Chili Masala Powder, Garam Masala Powder, Salt,

Sugar And Cashew Nut Bits. Fry After Each Addition.

3. Cook Over Low Flame Till The Mixture Is ¾ Of The Original Quantity. Cool.

4. Make A Fine Paste In A Blender. Remove.

5. Rinse The Blender With 1 Cup Water & Keep This Masala Water Aside.

Ingredients  For Making Chicken Tikka Masala-step 2

Ghee For Cooking

1 Big Onion, Chopped

1 Cardamom

1 Clove

1 Cinnamon

¾ Cup Fresh Malai (use The Malai From The Milk At Home).





Method For Preparing Chicken Tikka Masala-step 2

1. Melt 1 Table Spoon Of Ghee. Fry The Onion Till Pink. Add Clove, Cinnamon, Clove

2. Add The Ground Paste. Bring To A Boil.

3. Add Masala Water. Check The Salt And Chili Powder. Add More If Necessary.

4. Add The Chicken Tikka Pieces (baked/ Grilled Or Shallow Fried). Simmer For 5 Minutes.

5. Lastly Add The Fresh Malai. Cook For Further 5 Minutes.

6. Remove & Garnish With Freshly Chopped Coriander Leaves.

7. Serve With Chapathis Or Rotis  Or Kulchas, Etc
