A. Ingredients For The Marinade:

1 Kg Preferably Desi Chicken

1/2 Cup Curds

Salt To Taste

1 Tea Spoon Of  Garam Masala Powder

1 tea Spoon Of Mangalore Chilli Masala Powder

Method For Preparing Marinade:

1. Clean & Cut The Chicken & Prick All Over With A Fork.

2. Mix All The Rest Of The Ingredients With A Fork.

3. Rub Into The Chicken & Marinate For 3- 4 Hours In The Fridge.

B. For The Gravy Preparation:

3 Large Onions, Sliced

1 Large Onion, Chopped

24 Flakes Of Garlic

1" Ginger

8 Green Chillies

1 Tomato, Chopped

Ghee As Required

2 Pieces Of Cinnamon ( Optional )

2 Cloves ( Optional )

2 Cardamoms ( Optional )

1 Cup Coriander Leaves

1 Tea Spoon Of Poppy Seeds.





Method For Preparing Murg Mussalam:

1. Take A Kadai & Fry The 3 Sliced Onions In Ghee Till Transparent. Add Ginger, Garlic, Green

 Chillies, Coriander Leaves, Poppy Seeds & Fry Till It Gives A Nice Aroma.

2. Cool & Grind To A Fine Paste. Rinse The Mixer In 1 Cup Water & Keep Aside This Masala

 Water.

3. Fry One Onion In A Cooker. When Transparent Add The Tomato & Fry Till Soft. Add The

Ground Paste & Fry Till The Ghee Seperates.

4. Add The Marinated Chicken & Fry For A Few Minutes. Add The Garam Masalas, 1 Cup Masala

Water, Salt & Cook For 20 Minutes Or Till Done.

5. Garnish With Coriander Leaves & Serve .
