Golgappa  Or Paani Puri

Ingredients For Making Golgappa Or  Paani Puri:

1 Packet Of Ready Made Pooris

For The Pani

For Paani Add 2 Tea Spoons Of Everest Paani Puri Masala

Other Ingredients

Khajur Imli Ki Chutney

1/2 Cup Mixed Sprouts Or Boiled Moong Or Boiled Channa

1 Boiled And Mashed Potato

1/2 Cup Boondi , Soaked And Drained


How To Proceed

1. Crack A Small Hole In The Centre Of Each Puri.

2. Fill With A Little Sprouts Or Boondi, Then Top A Little Khajur Imli Ki Chutney, Immerse It In

 The Chilled Pani And Eat Immediately.

Kajur ( Dates) Imli ( Tamarind) Ki Chutney


1 Cup Deseeded Dates (khajur)

2 Table Spoons Of  Deseeded Tamarind (imli)

1/2 Cup Grated Jaggery (gur)

1/2 Tea Spoon Chilli Powder

1 Tea Spoon Cumin Seeds (jeera) Powder

Salt To Taste.

Method For Preparing Golgappa / Paani Puri:

1. Wash The Dates And Tamarind And Put Them In A Pressure Cooker.

2. Add The Jaggery And 1 Cup Of Water And Pressure Cook For 2 Whistles.

3. Allow The Steam To Escape And Then Blend In A Mixer To A Smooth Paste.

4. Strain The Mixture Through A Sieve.

5. Add 1½ Cups Of Water, Chilli Powder, Cumin Seeds Powder And Salt And Mix Well.

6. Refrigerate And Use As Required.
