Ingredients For Making Sweet Appa Or Appo:

2 Cups  Of Raw Rice
2 Table Spoon Fine Beaten Rice Or Poha
1/2 Tea Spoon Yeast
Jaggery As Per Taste 2-3 Pieces Or U May Add Sugar
Coconut Milk 2-3 Cups Or As Required
3 Cardamoms
Ghee For Greasing

Method For Preparing Sweet Appa Or Appo:

1. Wash And Soak The Rice For 4 - 5 Hours.
2. Wash Beaten Rice & Grind To A Smooth Paste Adding Very Little Coconut Milk Along With Yeast.
3. Add The Jaggery And Grind To Mix Well.
4. Add Cardamom Powder.the Batter Should Be Thick Batter.
5. Keep It To Ferment Overnight.
6. Light Your Gas Stove Before You Place The Appa Pan Or 'guri Appa Kavali'. Pour Little Ghee In Each Hole, Fill The Holes With 3/4 Of The Batter, As The Batter Will Rise. Cover With A Dome Shape Lid.
7. Once The Appam Rises And The Bottom Side Is Brown, Flip It Over Slowly, About A Minute Or So, Cook The Other Side. Cover & Cook Both Sides Till Brown.
8. Remove When Done. Now A Very Tasty Sweet Appa Is Ready For Uuuuuuuuuu
